Summary:Through Cambridge Dictionaries, supermarket can give the meaning as the large shop that sell many types of food and goods that needed in our daily life. A supermarket is a large, departmentalised retail store that primarily sells food items (Marshall et al. 2001), while a department store is larger, divided into different departments, and also provides an extensive assortment of other goods and services (Thang and Tan 2003). For customer satisfaction it can be defined as the degree of satisfaction provided by the goods or services of company as measured by the number of repeat customers. Customer satisfaction is very important for the supermarket because the consumer as their profit or future of the supermarket.
