objective to investigate the relationship of employee commitment, communication and leadership styles with readiness for change in Retail Industry in Kuching, Sarawak. Through this quantitative study, simple random sampling is used. Apart from that, questionnaire is used in data collection and analysed by using four chosen statistical methods which are Independent
Sample T-Test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation and Multiple
Regression. The results showed that there is significant relationship of employee commitment, communication and leadership styles with readiness for change includes its sub-factors. Communication is the best predictor among three main factors. This paper contributes to the knowledge and implications of organizational change, as the management will understand the variable that has the strongest impact to readiness for change. |
