| Summary: | Present research seeks to develop a conceptual model for exploring the impact of innovation on financial performance. In addition to that, the current study has suggested environmental turbulence as a moderator for the relationship mentioned above. The innovation literature and contingency theory supply starting points for developing the conceptual framework. Present research investigates the impact of innovation and environmental turbulence on financial performance. The paper has some preliminary findings since it is suitable for management to direct their effort and time in interpreting the impact of innovation on financial performance. Moreover, the conceptual model delivers insights for considering the effect of environmental turbulence as a moderator variable on financial performance. |
