Description
Summary:The rapid growth of rehabilitation systems has resulted in an increasing demand for tunnelling technology that can operate in extreme conditions which involves deep excavations and interruptions of utility lines and traffic flow. The chosen project comprising the installation of DN2500 mm sewerage reinforced jacking pipe (RCJP) using pipe jacking method. The proposed project site in Kuala Lumpur is located at KM D7.4 along KL-Seremban Highway. This paper aims to correlate the TBM parameter with ground condition due to huge excavation induced by tunnelling activity and to produce Gaussian Distribution Curve by applying empirical method and determine the volume loss of tunnelling.
