However, the SMEs may encounter difficulties in operating their activities among rivals in a competitive market.Strategic orientation can be seen as the vital resources for SMEs to employ for obtaining competitive advantage that in turn leads to better performance.This study aims to propose a model that depicts the moderating effect of access to finance on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, learning orientation and SMEs performance. Based on the review of existing literature, the proposed model is developed.This paper argues that although entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and learning orientation have impact on SMEs performance but its impact will be greater when access to finance is highly supportive.
