The definitions, dimensions and importance of organizational commitment and job satisfaction in organization from Western perspective were discussed based on al-Quran and hadith which have been considered as the two highest authorities in Islam. The findings showed that there were many similarities between Western and Islamic perspectives in discussing the organizational commitment and job satisfaction.
