Several metaphors have been used to describe the role of the HR department, such as partner, creator, facilitator, business partner, strategic partner, change agent, employee champion, and administrative expert. In this paper, we discussed empirical evidence from research-based university (RU). The study assesses 119 HR practitioners’ response from five universities that participated in a survey.
