Summary:The main purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between factors that influence high performance work practice (HPWP) and organizational performance. The independent variable which had been studied in this research is ability enhancing practices, motivation enhancing practices and opportunity enhancing practices. Selected private organization is chosen for this present study. The research is conducted by using quantitative research methodology. The population is all the employees in selected organization which is Harrisons Sabah Sdn. Bhd. and the sample size was chosen based on simple random sampling technique. Besides, questionnaires had been used to collect the related data in this study. The data that gathered from these respondents had been analyzed by using “Statistical Package for Social Science” (SPSS) version 21.0. Descriptive and inferential statistic was used to analyzed data according to the categories. Descriptive statistic was used to analyzed the respondents demographic background such as gender, age, marriage status, level of education and work experience. While, Pearson correlation analysis had been choose to analyze and identify the relationship between the independent and dependent variable. The finding of the study shown that there is significant relationship between ability enhancing practices, motivation enhancing practices and opportunity enhancing practices with the organizational performance. Finding of the research stated that all factor in influence high performance work practice (HPWP) has moderate relationship with the organizational performance. Which means the relationship is not really strong, they are not cohesive at all. Recommendation and suggestion had been made for the future reference for the organization, HR practitioners and also future researchers. The organization are encouraged to provide employees with different types of training or to create job rotation systems for X employees to ensure the employees gain their abilities beyond their limits and gain new skills through a variety of work experience. Next, HR practitioners need to carry out the motivational and training programs to enhance employees' awareness of the organization's mission, vision and objectives and ensure that they are able and accomplish it. Lastly, the future researcher encouraged to conduct this study in more than one organization.This is because, the present study only involved one organization and this should be consider as part of the constraint of this present study.
