要約:The intention of this study is to examine the linkage between the leadership style on employee affective commitment to change moderated by the organizational culture. The research adopt a qualitative approach through a detail review of the extant literatures. The findings in the extant literature review reveals that leadership style is positively related to employee commitment to change and that the organizational culture positively moderates the link between leadership style and employee commitment to change. The authors are constrained to generalize the findings in this paper to all units in the public sector due to the qualitative approach that is adopted. This has created the vacuum for future research that need to empirically validate the proposed theoretical linkage. This research has explored the gaps in change management literatures by linking the different styles of leadership, organizational culture, and how they relate to employee commitment to change. It has equally provided a guideline for the public sectors in Yemen on how to achieve effective and efficient leadership with change management.
