Summary:Facility management is the integration of processes within an organization to maintain and develop the agreed services which support and improve the effectiveness of its primary activities. Due to its importance, it is highly critical to study and understand critical issues surrounding this endeavour in relation to the students’ quality of life. Referring to the above, this article reflects outcomes in view of the following objectives: (1) to expose the relationship between quality of life with facility management at student residential hall (2) to assess the level of influence of facility management on quality of life.A set of questionnaire derived from WHOQOL instruments (psychological health, independence, social relationship, and living environment) was distributed to 120 students at residential hall in UUM which contains of 16 questions. Likert scale was used in measuring student satisfaction.The data was analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Science 23(SPSS 23). Differences between the gender, race and year of study are expected to be critical determinants that affect the quality of life in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
