Students felt they learned as much or more than they did in traditional method of teaching and learning, were more motivated, and preferred hybrid courses over traditional ones. Specifically, the research finding suggests that BL has the potential of enhancing learning interactivity and minimizes the sense of isolation amongst the learners. The authors found that students felt a greater sense of belonging in those courses that used synchronous communication, although they enjoyed the flexibility of asynchronous communication.
