Description
Summary:This study investigates the moderating role of job stress in the relationship between organization support and intention to stay among information technology professional workers. To achieve this objective, a total of 832 questionnaires are mailed to the representatives of organizations that have agreed to participate in this study. From 220 questionnaires that are returned, only 178 are usable for further analysis to produce a response rate of 21.39 percent. The hypothesis on the moderating or interaction effect is tested using hierarchical multiple regressions. The results show that job stress moderates the relationship between perceived organization support and intention to stay.Implications of the findings, potential limitations, and directions for future research are discussed at the end the paper
