Stress refers to an incident that affects individual emotions and behaviors. Research about stress in the workplace should be done not just on government sectors but also on the private sectors. This study was conducted to identify factors that led to stress among women civil servants at Putrajaya. The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between stress factors and workload factors, leadership style factors, and environmental factors in the workplace. The study involved 108 female officers and staff in the support and administrative (N) group starting from grades N19 to N38 in one choosen department in Putrajaya. The data for this study was collected through surveys conducted through whatsapp and e-mail. From 108 question that have been distributed, 94 respondents answered the questionnaire. Data obtained were analyzed using SPSS Statistics System. The findings show that all three factors that related to stress in the workplace among female civil servants in Putrajaya which are workload factors, leadership style and workplace environmental factors. This study has provided some suggestion to all ministry and department in public sector to identify the working preassure problem among their respective officers and staff by distributing questionnaires. The Ministries and departments are also recommended to orgonize work related stress courses as the steps to address this problem. In addition, the study also provides reommendations to future studies to study other factors that related to stress in the workplace among female civil sevants such as the factor of personal problem, ministry policy and other related issues.
