Industrial Management Creativity is a process that is stressed upon in the education curriculum, in order to develop students that can compete and adapt in this era of globalization. The purpose of this study is to identify the thinking process of form four Chemistry students through story-telling technique. This study uses the qualitative exploratory approach. The researcher will develop the story telling teaching module and identify the thinking process of studentswhen applying story-telling technique in teaching Chemistry. Content validity was established where the module was examined by a Chemistry teacher and a Chemistry lecturer in order to ensure the instrument's content was aligned with the objectives of the study and the abaility level of the respondents. The respondents compromised of a science stream class chosen through purposive sampling method and a total of six respondents were chosen for the interview. A checklist and face-to-face interviewwas used to research the thinking process that occurs during the application of story-telling technique. The data collected from the respondents was analyzed by using the content analysis technique in order to identify the theme, concept and meaning to obtain a more concrete explanation and subsequently to evaluate the students' thinking process during the execution of the story-telling technique. The findings of this study showed that there are six thinking process that have been identified which are obtaining information, change in understanding, transfer of learning, information maintainance, imagination and rearranging information. All of these thinking criteriawere used by the students throughout the four phases of the story-telling model, VisualPortrait of Story (VPS) that relates each phase with the students' thinking process during execution of story-telling technique. Therefore, it is hoped that the findings and the discussions conducted can contribute to the education world specifically, in the field of Chemistry education that emphasizes creativity and lifelong learning.
