Description
Summary:Critical success factors for Quality Management System (QMS) had been widely developed and validated by previous researchers . However. these critical factors were viewed from a holistic business management perspective without a direct association to the requirement of ISO 9000 standard series. Hence. this study aims at determining the critical QMS factors for organizational performance based on ISO 9001:2008 standard requirements. In line with this. 6 critical QMS factors for organizational performance and 5 QMS related organization performance measures were identified from a comprehensive literature review. The 6 critical OMS factors are subsequently associated with clauses of ISO 9001:2008 to form a QMS and ISO 900 1:2008 integrated conceptual framework. The framework is based on a concept where QMS success factors for holistic business management viewpoint and ISO 9001:2008 requirements are interconnected. Meanwhile. the QMS ISO 9001 :2008 integrated factors have a direct effect on organization performance.
