Adolescent girls living in moral rehabilitation center has also an issue because the number is increasing. This study aims to identify the appropriate inventory to measure the process of repentance youth who were involved in adultery through analysis of Structural Equation Model. To ensure that the constructs are well-constructed, study design uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The first phase uses a qualitative approach involving focus groups to construct the instrument. Qualitative findings identify eight level in the process of repentance, al-Ghazali had identified namely, the guidance of faith, Islamic guidance, moral guidance, muhasabah, muatabah, muaqabah, mujahadah and istiqamah. Next, was to develop a self-assessment inventory using five-point Likert scale that list 49 items. The study involved 284 respondents who were involved in sex before marriage. However, Structural equation modeling analysis had produced Fit models that show only 13 items of which five items for combinations construct of understanding, five items for combinations of action and only three items to construct of repentance. The results showed construct as combination of understanding is significant and positive relationship with the constructs combination of action (r = 0.78) with repentance constructs as moderators of a weak positive relationship but on constructs combination Understanding (r = 0.22). Implication of this study suggests that understanding the components driving someone to act in the process of repentance. However, understanding the constructs showed a positive influence on the construct of self. Instead, taubat can not influence action in the context of the entire repentance process. Future study is proposed to groups of boys to identify similarities or differences in model Repentance Al-Ghazali (M-Tag). 2016-01-04T06:34:09Z 2016-01-04T06:34:09Z 2015-05-19 Article http://ddms.usim.edu.my/handle/123456789/9815 my Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
