Summary: | In the academic world, everybody is responsible to ensure that the delivery of a course complies with the syllabus and curriculum design. Lecturers manage their classes by preparing lesson plans based on the syllabus and curriculum design, and these are commonly revised continually over time due to the need to improve the quality of the curriculum delivery. If these changes are tactfully traced, they could explicitly show the improvement made on the course, which is beneficial for continual quality improvement (CQI) for academic review. Due to the complexity of compiling the information and knowing who knows what have changed in the whole process, it is suggested that a multi-agent system is developed to mediate the tasks of the people involved. In suggesting this, the software agents are assigned with roles postulated in the recent research on agent-mediated personal knowledge management (PKM), in which the assigned roles are identify, decide, drive and method. These roles are then analysed to produce a conceptual model, showing the deployment of 3D framework of Detect-Determine-Direct, illustrated using the nodal approach. 2016 American Scientific Publishers.
