Summary: | The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between social support and work-family conflict among employees in selected hotel in Sarawak. Questionnaires were distributed to 70 employees in a hotel located in Kuching, Sarawak. The data obtained from
the present study were analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS). Pearson Correlation and Spearman’s Rho Correlation were used to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings indicate that family support and co-worker support do not have a
significant relationship with work-family conflict whereas supervisor support has a significant relationship with work-family conflict. This study can contribute to the human resource practitioners and organization in understanding social support may affect work-family conflict among hotel employees. |
