The minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration on different concentration of varied brands detergents were compared. Six out of eight detergents showed a minimum inhibitory and bactericidal properties against E. coli 0157: H7. Among the tested commercial detergents, Sunlight showed the most efficient detergent by having lowest minimum inhibitory and bactericidal concentration. Only Good Maid and Top did not show any bactericidal properties against E. coli 0157: H7.
