Summary:The purpose of this study is to identify students' most preferred learning style. The study utilizes a survey approach employing a set of questionnaire adopted and adapted from Index Learning Style Questionnaire. The sample comprises 120 Form Four students in SMK Matang Jaya. Overall, the findings revealed that the most preferred learning style adopted by the respondents in this study was assimilators. Hence, teachers are recommended to match their teaching styles and approaches to accommodate specific learning style adopted by students to increase academic achievement especially in the second language learning.
