Although many researchers have discussed employee turnover extensively, it remains an unresolved issue. This paper determines the number of common factors influencing intention to leave one’s job. It also analyses the stability and consistency with which the instrument measures the concept and helps to assess the goodness of the measure. Using cluster sampling, this study sampled 452 respondents in nine manufacturing companies comprising nine districts in Selangor, Malaysia.
