The nodal segment of C nutans was cultured on different MS medium supplemented with different types of organic additives. The media used were MSO (control), MS + 10% (vfv) coconut water, MS + 10% (v/v) banana homogenate, MS + 10% (v/v) potato homogenate and MS + 10% (v/v) tomato juice. The experiment was designed in a completely randomized designed (CRD) and each of the treatment was replicated 8 times. Data was collected according to number of leaves, length of regenerated shoots and number of roots. After 26 days of culture, results showed that MS medium supplemented with 10% (v/v) of coconut water showed the highest number of leaves (8.13±0.30), and highest length of regenerated shoot (2.71±0.07cm). While, the number of roots produced was (0.7S±0.71). The addition of 10% (vfv) potato homogenate showed the highest number (0.88±0.64) of roots. Thus, the presence of coconut water as organic additive in culture medium increase effectiveness of regeneration of nodal segment of C nutans.
