Perodua got its name from Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd, the name of the organization. Perodua is a private limited business, was founded in 1993 with the mission of providing Malaysians with total mobility through useful, high-quality products and services that are given with the utmost care. Their comprehensive portfolio includes pre-owned cars, body and paint repair, sales, after-sales service, and vehicle production. They view comprehensive mobility as including the entire Malaysian automotive ecosystem, including suppliers, dealers, and business partners. It extends well beyond what we do. The Perodua Smart Build is intended to make the automobile sector more competitive and forward-thinking, allowing Perodua and the automotive ecosystem to benefit from the National automobile Policy. Full product development by Perodua and its suppliers, the establishment of a first-class work culture, and first-class thinking that will be able to benefit the country are among the key elements of Perodua Smart Build. Perodua Smart Build essentially strives to increase mobility for everyone, from putting cutting-edge safety features into our products to reducing our carbon footprint. Perodua has built and sold more than a million energy efficient vehicles (EEVs) to date, making it the first and largest EEV manufacturer in Malaysia.
