Summary:Vaccines are introduced as one of the most effective tools to prevent infectious diseases. The existence of barriers which prevent people from vaccinated cause the decreasing of vaccination coverage. The aim of this study was to determine the knowledge towards vaccination among the Health Sciences students of UiTM Puncak Alam. A cross-sectional study was carried out in 328 students and all the subjects were answered with the Vaccination Questionnaire where knowledge towards vaccination was determined. Descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test were used to compare the difference. The result showed that overall students had a mean knowledge score of 6.62 (SD=1.97). Besides, the result of the knowledge based on genders shown that male students had a mean knowledge score of 6.17 (SD=2.056) and female students had 7.07 (SD=1.774). There was a significant difference in knowledge score between genders towards vaccination. In conclusion, overall of the students had adequate knowledge towards vaccination, but female students shown better vaccination knowledge compared to male students.
