Practical Training Report is the most important report that should be prepared by the Practical Training Student of AP 119 Program. The report of the practical training require the student to study and analyze the topic that they select at their selected case study/company. The student shall then relate the collected data with their knowledge in the selected topic. At the end of this study, the students shall be able to identify the strength and weakness also the problems that can be related to the topic based on their case study. The objectives of the Practical Training are generally to deliver the comprehensive understanding on the surrounding and environment of working life related to the field of study. Besides, it also require the student to learn and analyze through the collected data of the multi-disciplinary approach in case study. In addition, the Practical Training also require the student to be able to prepare a scientific technical report of the topic at their selected case study. Lastly, it also require the students to be able to communicate, work in team, cooperate with the company and confidently present the report to the panel. For me, the selected topic for the Practical Training Report is Defect Liability Period in terms of contractor responsibilities and the selected case study/company is Parkhill Residence which are located at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The method that has been implement by me to gain the information are generally through 3 basic phase. The first phase is by select the company, then provide the Official Letter from UiTM to prove the student identification and also the cover letter from the student which to inform the intention to be part of the team as a trainee for a semester period. When I have gain the approval, the second phase is by being part of the project team to learn the new things, communicate, work in team, cooperate with the company, able to solve problems, able to handle tasks given, and to have a most valuable experience during the time period. The last phase is by preparing and completing the report by following the guidance provided then will be submitted and the student will do the presentation of their report in front of the panels.
