This study aims to ensure sustainability of trishaw by enhancing deficiencies in continuing the legacy also to emphasizing the tourism sector at Bandar Melaka. In this context, sustainability of trishaw is about maintaining current ‘heritage values’ for future used and contributor to the tourism sector in the state. Based on a study of the literature on key terms of trishaw and types of way to trishaw sustain, an online survey was distributed to person who plays an important role while used a secondary data observation help to identify existing route for trishaw services at Bandar Melaka. Respondents were randomly divided into two types of perspective needed such trishaw riders as local involvement and visitors from every states while they asked to respond to one sets of questionnaire. Analysis of the responses and observation demonstrated that the problems faced are related to issues of safety and comfort and the reduction of heritage elements on trishaw as before. The result indicate that various efforts can be made to preserve current ‘heritage values’. On this basis, it is recommended that Local Authority must take an actions to in caring for the trishaw riders and creating special trails also maintaining the classic image of today's trishaw to increase the number of visitors who are attracted to trishaw today.
