There is however extremely limited scholarly work or discussion on the term halal science and its applications. The aim of the study is to discuss the definitions of Halal science, the current use of the term, and its philosophy. The review of previous literature and current academic-related scenarios reflects the presence and emergence of halal science as an academic discipline, despite the argument on the appropriate use of the term halal science in the context of scientific discipline.
