Sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone), known as SPEEK, has emerged as a promising alternative to Nafion™ for proton exchange membranes (PEMs) due to its unique properties, including favorable proton conduction and mechanical stability, along with cost-effectiveness for industrial purposes.
