Residual Strength Estimation of Medium Toughness Pipe Elbows with Longitudinally Aligned Interacting Corrosion Defects Subjected to Internal Pressure
For the oil and gas pipeline integrity management, failure evaluation of corroded pipe elbows is critical. The influence of corrosion defects on the burst capacity of medium toughness X52 pipe elbows will be investigated using a validated 3D finite element (FE) model in this project.
