Description
Summary:Beyond aesthetic and educational purposes, children's drawings have been recognized throughout the past century as markers of cognitive development as well as personality, emotional and social functioning in adolescents. With the continuous development of globalization along with civilization, mental health concerns are receiving greater attention as a result. Draw-A-Person (DAP) and Draw-a-Family-Picture-Test (DAFPT) are one of the conventional psychological assessment methods based around children’s drawings, where the assessments are meant to assist experts in determining a child's cognitive development level with little to no influence from other outlier variables, such as language difficulties and special needs.
