Description
Summary:In offshore environment, there is currently no antenna available that can be used without drilling for the oil recovery application which can also transfer electromagnetic waves to certain region of the reservoir. A curve antenna located near the seabed can focus electromagnetic waves to the oil reservoir at certain region without any drilling for antenna. Nanofluid injection along with electromagnetic waves emitted from the antenna can be used in the offshore field. these nanofluids interact with electromagnetic waves to recover more oil. This work premise deals with a new curve antenna design for oil recovery by improved water flooding system. The simulated results showed that the curve antenna with magnetic feeders produced a 473% and 1978% increase in the electric field and magnetic field respectively as compare to curve antenna without magnetic feeders.
