Summary: | Buildings for maintaining indoor environmental comfort consumes 40 % of
world's energy, causes 40% of carbon emissions as well. This one-third energy share
satisfies more than 90 % of inhabitant's, who spend most of their time inside
buildings. Since, indoor comfort plays significant role for quality living and poses
huge impact to preserve inhabitant's health, morale, working efficiency, productivity
and satisfaction. However, building automation possesses the great potential and low
cost, energy and carbon reductions. In relation to that, improvement in indoor
environmental comfort requires higher energy consumption. Whereas, the primary
challenge of control systems is energy savings and comfort index in a building
environment are ordinarily differing to each other. |
