Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to investigate the interaction model created by the blind people for non-linear reading of complex data table using touch screen with audio feedback. We believe that by accessing complex data table using a touch screen display with audio feedback, a blind user would be able to have two-dimensional perspective of the table that will help the blind user to gain better orientation of the table. This is important for the blind user to read a complex data table and get the required data as fast as possible. The study so far revealed that using touch screen with audio feedback, the blind people achieved more accurate orientation. However, the accuracy was not statistically significant enough as comparaed to using screen-reader program
