Description
Summary:This study illustrates the understanding of students at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) on the use of eco-friendly products compared to non-eco-friendly products. Student awareness about the impact on the environment if using non-eco-friendly products in the long run. The objective of this study is to identify the relationship between types of eco-friendly, benefit of eco-friendly, education of eco-friendly and student's understanding of eco-friendly products. This study uses a quantitative method to analyze the data from the survey questionnaire that collected from 100 students at UUM. Findings show that the level of consumer understanding and practice at UUM on the use of eco-friendly products is modest. Therefore, more encouraging campaigns must be conducted to raise the level of knowledge, understanding and practice among UUM students.
