Summary:Crowdsourcing is a new phenomenon of outsourcing concept and serve the company with unique and inventive opportunities to capitalize on crowds‟ innovation potential, skills and knowledge.The main purpose of this study is to explore crowdsourcing practices and its benefits.The study employed qualitative method to explore the crowdsourcing practices and the findings obtain from the past reviews then validated from the SMEs business owners.The study contributes to a better theoretic understanding of the crowdsourcing benefits and the basis for future research. Meanwhile, from the managerial perspectives, the results provide guidance for the SMEs who need to create new or adapt crowdsourcing practices in order to enhance their business performance.To the policy maker, it serves as source of information to strengthen the action plan and to improve current crowdsourcing practices mainly in the context of SMEs in Malaysia.
