Summary:Women's participation in entrepreneurship programs is seen capable of achieving the objectives of economic development to improve the living standards of rural people, through e-business.The problem is whether rural women are willing and able to rise to the challenge of raising the quality and standard of living.Previous studies have still not been clearly demonstrated that rural women have been willing and able to realize the demands of this requirement.Thus, this study aims to assess the current scenario, factors and barriers to the participation of women in entrepreneurship programs through this e-business. In addition, the study also focused on the implications, prospects and challenges to develop and expand the concept of entrepreneurship through e-business in rural areas.This study used both qualitative and quantitative approach, involve the use of questionnaires and interviews with key informants.The selection of respondents is done randomly and analyzed by descriptive and inferential.Some key aspects studied through questionnaires, including the level of women participation and the factors that influence the level of women participation in entrepreneurship through e-business.The results indicated several factors that influence the women participation in e-business such as capital, entrepreneurial training courses, lack of commitment and initiative, attitude and so on.
