However, the increase number of motorized vehicles shows that motorized vehicle is the popular travel mode among all although walking is considered as sustainable transport. This research investigated factors that may influence the walking as a travel mode among students.Quantitative methods were applied to examine the relationships between factors that affect the decision of students and walking as their travel mode choice. The findings suggest that pedestrian facilities, pedestrian safety, travel behaviour and accessibility and connectivity are important factors to encourage students to choose walking as their travel mode on the campus. Therefore, these factors should be considered when planning a project to improve pedestrian facilities on campus.
