Intellectual property is a creation of new ideas, inventions, literary and artistic, the symbols, names and images used in business to produce a product to consumers.Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is the most important contributor to the country as it became the core of the country's industrialization process.Based on the statistics from MyIPO, that most local companies are less steeped in knowledge related to Intellectual Property Rights.So, I take opportunities from this problem to solve it with interviewing or make searching about the Effect of Intellectual Property Rights among SMEs: A Case of Manufacturing Company on Northern.My objective is to analyze positive and negative effects of Intellectual Property Rights in Small and Medium Enterprises and for our country.To know the difference before and after the implementation of Intellectual Property Rights in Small and Medium Enterprise.Due of time constraints, I had to use qualitative methods to conduct an interview with a company only in Kedah.Through of the study, I can learn and understand what it intellectual property rights actually.The implementation of IPR can give a positive impact on companies, especially SME.
