Summary:The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between learning skills and academic achievements based on their CGPA’s among the education undergraduate students in Universiti Utara Malaysia.By using cluster and random sampling, the respondent in this study involved semester one, three, five and seven education undergraduate students.The number of respondent for this study is 345 students.A set of questionnaires comprising of two parts is used in this research.The first part contains the respondent’s demographic information.The second part contains question on learning skills.From the data that had been analyzed, result shows that the level of students study skills is high (M = 2.83. SD = .32) The Pearson correlation test is applied to determine the relationship between learning skills and academic achievements. The results of Pearson correlation test shows that there is a significant relationship between learning skills and academic achievement (r = .15, p < .5).Based on the findings, some suggestion to increase students academic performance and also recomendations for future research are provided in the study.
