How did teachers navigate these uncertain times in the initial days of crisis? There is an urgent need to investigate the factors that influence teachers' adaptability in the face of unprecedented obstacles while still satisfying the demands of 21st-century teaching and learning. As a result, this study aims to investigate the impact of adaptive performance, which might be used to measure teachers' abilities to execute change during a crisis. This four-factor individual self-efficacy, individual creativity, individual stress, and individual learning were all measured to define teachers' adaptability in applying online learning in the context of a pandemic and to build an online learning environment. A total of 276 from a population of 988 primary school teachers were selected using stratified sampling from the state of Perlis, Malaysia. The hypothesis testing was tested using multiple regression analysis. As the results of the study show that individual self-efficacy, individual creativity and individual learning were positively significant while only individual stress was not supported. The study is important for teachers as they are able to change and be versatile in their performance and ways of working in a different situation and this can lead to important changes within the school that promote success. The results and findings of this research have provided several insights and knowledge about teacher adaptability toward online learning during learning & teaching disruptions.
