Previous studies have shown that safety regulations, procedures and communication had a significant relationship for individual safety behaviour development. This research purposely to determine the relationship between safety communication and feedback, safety rules and procedures and safety training towards safety behaviour. This study focused on three variables, which were safety communication and feedback, safety rules and procedures and safety training—using a self-administered 5 Likert scale questionnaire. The survey involved 250 undergraduate students who have applied the teaching laboratories of the public university in Northern Malaysia. Random sampling was applied for data collection, and data were analysed using SPSS Version 25. The result of this study revealed that the overall level of safety communication feedback, safety rules and procedures and safety training towards safety behaviour is weak. Hence, this has shown that existing measures of the university in Northern Peninsular of Malaysia to enhance safety behaviour among students was not adequate. It was concluded that more education and training need to be implemented for improvement. These findings provide valuable guidance for researchers and practitioners for identifying the mechanisms by which they can improve safety behaviour among students of the public university in Northern of Peninsular of Malaysia. 2020 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9318/1/s822700_01.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9318/2/s822700_02.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9318/3/s822700_references.docx Che Rosedina, Che Din (2020) Determinant of safety behaviour among students in teaching laboratories public universities in Northern in Peninsular Malaysia.
