In order to ensure higher performance in the organization, the management of organization should focus on the elements that have impacts on the organization. This study examines on the relationship of motivation and leadership style on intention to leave which focuses on manufacturing company in one of the states in Malaysia. The questionnaires were distributed to the respondents and there are 492 respondents involved in the study. The study employs Statistical Packages of Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 to analyze data after the data collection process which emphasized on demographic profiles such as gender, age, marital status, education level, job status, job category, duration of service and income level. The normality test was employed to determine normal distribution of the study and correlation was conducted to determine evaluate and analyze relationship between motivation and leadership style towards intention to leave the organization. The results indicate positive and significant relationship between motivation and leadership style towards intention to leave among workers in manufacturing companies. Discussion on the findings were discussed and supported by previous relevant studies to strengthen the results. The study contributed to the body of knowledge with new findings on the relationship between motivation and leadership style towards intention to leave.
