Previous studies have shown that the impact of this game affected the academic performance of hardcore players. The purpose of this study was to study the impact of online games on the performance of specialist trainees at the Southern Zone Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (ILKKM). Independent variables are learning time management, social life, emotion and dependent variables are academic achievement. A total of 107 specialist trainees participated in the study and data were obtained through a 5-point Likert scale survey. SPSS version 25 was used for data analysis involving descriptive statistics analysis (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (correlation and multiple regression). The results of this study indicate that the management of study time, social life and emotion did not significantly correlate with academic achievement. This indicates that future research needs to be conducted on all ILKKM available. The findings of this study can contribute to academic management that online games can be used as one of teaching and learning methods in ILKKM to increase the interest and learning outcomes aimed at improving the academic performance of the trainees. 2020 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9081/1/s823750_01.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9081/2/s823750_02.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/9081/3/s823750_references.docx Nor Azman, Kasimin (2020) Kesan permainan atas talian ke atas prestasi akademik pelatih pengkhususan di Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia Zon Selatan.
