Summary: | This survey is conducted to investigate the level of awareness and perception of school management side regarding the implementation of TQM and MS ISO 9002. It involves three variables; awareness of school management side regarding the implementation of TQM and MS ISO 9002; Perception of the school management side regarding the critical factors during implementating TQM and MS ISO 9002; and Perception of School management side regarding the difficulties in getting individuals commitment in implementating TQM and MS ISO 9002. The sample comprised of 42 respondents which included the Pengetua, all tha Penolong Kanan of the school and all the Ketua Jabatan of each six A secondary school selected in negeri Perlis. Respondents were asked to select the best answer from the questions presented in the questionnaire.
The alternative hyphoteses developed for this research are : Awareness regarding the implementation of TQM and MS ISO 9002 differ among the school management side; Perception regading the critical success factors differ among the school management side; and Perception regarding the difficulties in getting individuals commitment to TQM ad MS ISO 9002 differ among the school management side.
Findings revealed that no statistical significant differences exists among the respective variables. However there are two significant differences out of ten items in the first variables and there are eight significant differences out of twenty one items in the third variables. All the findings in this study were discussed in relation to previous research and literature on TQM and MS ISO 9002. |
