Summary:The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of occupational stress with job satisfaction, stressors and stress symptons among teachers. The samples are trained teachers in twelve selected secondary school teachers in Kinta District, Perak with at least one year eperience in teaching. There are 282 questionnaires were distributed to the respondent but only 250 are usable sets. The rest are unreturned or incomplete questionnaires. The data were analysed by t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA) - one way and Pearson correlation. The result of the study shows that there are no statiscall significant between occupational stress among teacher with demographic factors : gender, marital status, length of service, academic qualification and type of school they are teaching. Furthermore, there is no significantly related between job satisfaction with occupational stress among teachers. However the result shows that occupational stress among teacher is significantly related with stressors. The main stressor is student factor. The result reveals that there is significantly related between supervisions and occupational stress among teachers.
