Summary:The main objective of this study is to determine the level of computer literacy among the full time counselors in secondary schools in the district of Kota Setar. It focuses on the level of computer literacy among the full time counselors and its link to their counseling services in schools. In addition , the study looks at the differences in age, academic qualification, years of experience and the number of computer courses attended in their level of computer literacy, skills and counseling service. The study also determines the correlation between computer literacy, skills and counseling services. The study involves 28 full time student counselors in secondary schools in the district of Kota Setar. Six hypotheses were developed to determine the differences and correlation between independent variables and dependent variables. Data was collected using the survey form and check list during researcher's review at Guiding and Counseling Unit and interviews with respondents. Secondary data was obtained from the library and from Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Kota Setar and Majlis Kaunselor Daerah Kota Setar. Data was analyzed using the Statistical Packages For The Social Science (SPSS). The analysis applied in this study were descriptive data as well as the ANOVA, T-test and Pearson correlation. The results show that computer literacy among guidance and counseling teachers in the district of Kota Setar is satisfactory. Majority (13) of respondents received good scores between 10 to 15 and 10 respondents, scored more than six and only five person received unsatisfactory scores less than five. Significant differences was found between counselors who attended training/courses and those who did not attend training/courses in their level of computer literacy, skills and counseling services. There was low correlation between computer literacy, skills and counseling services.
