Summary:The study is about determining the level of satisfaction and exhaustion among the employees of Institut Kemahiran MARA (IKM) Sik, Kedah. It is also to see the relationship between the satisfying factors and burnout as well as indentifying the eminent factors that affect their satisfaction and exhaustion level in their work. Respondents consist of 90 employees from IKM Sik, Kedah. The gathered data is processed collectively by using ‘Statistical Packages for Social Sciences’. They are collected through the distribution of questionnaires and research instrument based on the Job Descriptive Index. Statistical techniques used are by descriptive, mean comparison and Pearson correlation to find the answers to the research questions formed. The study reveals that entirely, the employees are on the high level of satisfaction and the burnout in their work. There are not any significant relationships between the demography factors among the workers of IKM Sik, Kedah. Entirely the inferential analysis on the differences of burnout among the staff of IKM Sik, Kedah namely in personal achievement, depersonalization and emotional desolation. Further analysis shows the significant relation between burnout and job satisfaction factors. What can be concluded from this study is that satisfaction and exhaustion are two essential factors to working individuals, because those who are pleased with their work will endlessly giving full commitment and eventually will enhance their working qualities better
