Summary:United States gave a strong response about terrorism especially after 9/11 tragedy where United States launched ‘War on Terror’ according to the acts of violence that committed by terrorist groups on Americans. After the tragedy, misperception on Islam start to raise, Islam was blamed for the attack and the teachings of Islam was being criticized by many peoples. Besides, Islamic Countries also made a strong responses about terrorism which they condemned the acts of violence and point out that Islam never gives permission to Muslims to kill innocent people. But the media that own by United States and Western Countries using propaganda to condemned the teachings of Islam and related terrorist groups with Islam. Consequently, this propaganda led to the hatred on Islam and Muslim by most of Americans and others that doesn’t understand the actual teachings of Islam.
