Summary:The aims of our country’s education to develop the balanced person concept needs teachers who are equipped credibly and as a model to whatever to be achieved. Today, teachers had shown their professional credibility in their efforts to achieve the aims. Teachers productivity is always being argued but their Quality of Work Life (QWL) neglected. That is why the teaching profession is the last resort for job seekers. This study will take a look at whether there exist significance correlation between QWL and teachers productivity. The QWL factors studied were leadership, training and staff development, reward and benefits, staff support as well as conduciveness and safety at working places. Productivity studied includes rate of rework, commitment, absentees from classes and teachers’ discipline. Studies was conducted on 360 teachers from 15 schools in the district of Padang Terap Pendang, Kedah. The study was conducted by using questionaires consisting of 36 items. For analytical data, statistical descriptive and inference was used. Statistical inference which is related to analytical data study are Test Pearson Correlation, One-Way ANOVA and Multiple Regression. Findings showed that there is correlation between leadership, training and staff development, staff support with productivity, whereas, reward and benefits is not related with commitments and absence from class. Safety and conduciveness also does not correlate with productivity. It is hoped that findings from this study will help policy makers, State Education Department and school administrators in preparing a good QWL for teachers in their effort to upgrade productivity.
