CRE patients need to be treated with special care because they can transmit the bacteria to other patients through direct contact or body fluid. This study is aims to investigate the level and influences of knowledge, attitude and practice as there are issues related to that can affect the prevention of nosocomial infection CRE at Hospital Pulau Pinang. Methodology used in this study is Quantitative Cross sectional study to measure the outcome among respondent whose Health Care Workers (doctors,nurses, medical assistant and atendent). A Structured questionnaire using closed-ended questions was used to determine the independent variable ( knowledge and attitude) and dependent variable (practise) and analyzing using SPSS. Result from study showed the positive relationship between knowledge, attitude and practise in prevention of infection. Knowledge is more influential or important as compared to the variable of attitude in the practice of preventing nosochomial infections.
